Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a CPA who enjoys working directly with clients and taking ownership of relationships
  • not just preparing returns. This role includes leading client meetings, onboarding new clients, and handling business and individual tax work as well as some accounting, special projects, and accounting cleanup as a part of client onboarding. You will work with business owners, answer questions and help them feel confident and well cared for. Work Schedule & Balance
  • 50 hours/week expected during tax season (Tax Season completion bonus of $5,000
  • $10,000)
  • 32 hours/week outside of tax season
  • Fridays off Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review business and individual tax returns
  • Focus on business clients and their related individual returns, along with other individual clients
  • Lead client meetings and serve as the primary point of contact
  • Advise clients on tax and financial matters throughout the year
  • Participate in new client discovery and onboarding meetings
  • Review financial information and identify issues and opportunities
  • Review staff work and provide guidance
  • Assist with complex accounting situations, particularly where tax implications are involved How We Work We take our work seriously and care bout doing right by our cleints, but we also believe the work should be sustainable.

  • Active CPA license required
  • 3-6+ years of public accounting experience
  • Strong experience with business and individual tax returns
  • Comfortable leading client conversations and answering questions in real time
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with clients
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgment
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to contribute where needed
Pay:
$80,000.00
  • $105,000.
