2015, ISO 9001:2015 Design, ISO 13485:2016, AS9100:2016, NIST 800-171 and ITAR.Position SummaryThis position is responsible for recording transactions in the Fathom general ledger, maintaining and reconciling assigned account balances, ensuring support for all transactions, assisting with the month-end close process, understanding account variances to prior periods, and preparing analysis and reports for Fathom Finance leadership.Key Responsibilities or Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Prepare journal entries to record monthly transactions in the general ledger, ensuring support for each entryAssist with monthly close, including completion of assigned tasks in a timely manner, reconciling assigned account balances, reviewing and explaining account variances vs. prior periods, and ensuring accuracy and completion of accounting recordsAccount for cash, including cash application to AR subledger and coding all cash receipts and payments to the ledgerAccount for fixed assets, leases, and debt, including updating detailed subledgersAccount for prepaid asset and accrued liabilities, including payroll, benefits, and commissionsAccount for intercompany transactions between Fathom entities and reconciling each month to ensure proper elimination in the consolidationAssist internal customers in researching accounting matters and ensuring the general ledger is accurately presentedRequired Skills/AbilitiesAttention to detailAbility to juggle multiple tasks and shift focus often with easeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working in a fast paced, deadline-driven environmentAbility to communicate with internal resources in a courteous mannerAbility to work in Quickbooks system Embody Fathoms Core Values Focus on excellence: Foster a culture of continuous improvement dedicated to safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
