Job Description
What We're Looking For Preferred:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Accounting, payroll, bookkeeping, or financial operations experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong mathematical and analytical abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling payroll and financial information. Ability to meet recurring payroll and financial deadlines. Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with company leadership. Willingness to learn all aspects of the company's financial operations. Desire to grow into a long-term financial leadership role. Why This Position Is Different This isn't simply a payroll or bookkeeping position. You will have the unique opportunity to learn directly from our CFO and develop a comprehensive understanding of how our company's financial operations work. Over the next several years, you'll work closely with the CFO, gaining knowledge and experience across payroll, accounting, banking, financial reporting, audits, and other areas of the business. As the CFO approaches retirement, you will be positioned to take on greater responsibility and play an important role in the future of Rands Trucking. Physical Requirements This position regularly requires sitting, standing, use of hands, reaching, talking, and listening. Occasionally, the position may require lifting or moving items weighing approximately 10-25 pounds.
