Key Responsibilities Payroll Processing:
Process bi-weekly payroll for all team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Enter and maintain payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and changes to compensation or deductions. Review and resolve discrepancies in timekeeping records and payroll data. Respond to payroll-related inquiries from team members and managers in a timely and professional manner.Accounting Support:
Assist with payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations for month-end and year-end closings. Ensure accurate reporting of payroll taxes, benefits, and other deductions. Collaborate with the accounting team to address and resolve discrepancies.Compliance & Reporting:
Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Assist with the preparation of W-2s, 1099s, and other year-end payroll documents. Maintain accurate and organized payroll records for audit and reporting purposes.Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency. Support the implementation of new payroll systems or software as needed.Schedule:
