As a Staff Accountant within Husco, you'll play a significant role in managing the day-to-day financials and the annual budgeting process. Join us! What You'll be
Doing:
Completing Month End Process :
Play a significant role in the month end close process including accurate and efficient completion of required journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations. Assist with
Budgeting :
Assist with the annual budgeting process, including working with various department heads to prepare SE&A Departmental for the remainder of the current year and the plan year.
Oversee Cash :
Provide weekly and daily cash updates. Assist with
Audit and Tax Work :
Assist with the annual audit and tax process, including preparing audit workpapers for accounts responsible for throughout the year and working with department heads and sister companies for tax information.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the field or a related area. Understanding of accounting principles and proper accounting procedures. Experience with Microsoft Office products, including strong Excel experience. Speed and accuracy in data entry, with the ability to review/audit work.
