Founded in 2014 as a Wisconsin contract brewery, Octopi Brewing has spent over a decade brewing and packaging beer, seltzers, RTDs, and sodas for clients nationwide. In 2024, Asahi — brewers of Asahi Super Dry — acquired Octopi, making us the U.S. production home of Super Dry. Today, our 250+ person team of beverage industry pros keeps that same local, quality-first spirit alive at a state-of-the-art facility. Our Finance team keeps the business side of Octopi and Asahi as sharp as our production side — and the Staff Accountant plays a key role in keeping our books accurate, audit-ready, and on time.THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a Staff Accountant to support our accounting and financial reporting functions — from journal entries and reconciliations to month-end close — helping keep our financial information accurate and reliable as we continue to grow.WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE GREAT

Prepare and post journal entries, and maintain and investigate general ledger account activity Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close Process and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and company bank deposits Support preparation of financial statements and management reports File and monitor tax reporting requirements, and maintain audit-ready accounting records Track purchase orders and reconcile company credit card accountsWHAT YOU BRING
Must-haves:
1-3 years of accounting experience preferred 2-year accounting or business degree with 1-2 years of related experience, or a 4-year accounting degree Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detailNice-to-haves:
Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Experience supporting fixed asset accountingBENEFITS & PERKS
