Job Description

Overview We are looking for a motivated accounting professional who is ready to grow with our organization. Whether you are a
CPA, CPA
candidate, or an experienced accountant looking to take the next step in your career, this position offers the opportunity to learn every aspect of our financial operations and eventually take ownership of many of our accounting processes. This role will work closely with leadership and our current finance team to gain a thorough understanding of the organization's accounting functions, reporting requirements, budgeting, payroll, and financial operations. Over time, this individual will become a key member of the finance team with increasing responsibility and leadership opportunities. What You'll Do Learn the day-to-day accounting processes of the organization. Assist with monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations. Help prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses. Support payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. Assist with year-end audits and financial reporting. Learn grant and healthcare accounting requirements, as applicable. Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency. Work closely with leadership to understand the financial needs of the organization. Gradually assume ownership of key accounting functions as knowledge and experience grow. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required. Two or more years of accounting experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Good organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Pay:
$46,965.46 - $74,000.00 per year
