Daily activities may include payments to Employees via Direct Deposit or Rapid Pay Cards and maintaining updated records in QuickBooks. As well as assisting the Accounting Management team.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Downloading bank activity and importing internal transfers for all payroll accounts for the prior day in QuickBooks. 2. Importing downloaded bank activity for all payroll accounts for prior day in to UBCC. 3. Record and audit internal transfers processed and advise when discrepancies are found. 4. Daily process of Positive Pay including uploads, exceptions, and communication with the payroll department. 5. Processes ACH Exceptions. 6. Daily processing of Direct Deposits including recording, submission, and correspondence with Controller and Payroll Department. 7. Processes returned Direct Deposits- sending to Payroll, recording in QBS, and entering to log. 8. Check and direct deposit verifications, and DDP reversals. 9. Daily recording of invoices and payments, as well as daily transfers of client nets along with the profit. 10. Daily recording of Net checks into QuickBooks. 11. Assign bank accounts and provide banking information to all new clients. 12. Assist with correspondence to all outside vendors regarding check cashing issues. 13. Rapid pay card setup, issues, lost & stolen cards, same day disbursements and QB recordings. 14. Download bank statements each month. 15. Assists with expired check verification, audits, and completion of reports to the State. 16. Assist with miscellaneous projects from accounting management. 17. Adheres to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and ensures that subordinate does the same.
PREFERRED SKILLS
The ability to maintain daily job duties along with miscellaneous projects within a fast-paced work environment. Skillful in mathematics, communication, time management and data entry. It is important to work well with others and be detail oriented.
