Our in-house team covers architecture and structural engineering, with a current pipeline of six projects across Pacific Palisades, Altadena, La Verne, Pomona, and Lancaster, primarily reinforced-concrete residential and commercial builds. Our office and showroom is on South La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles. We work in both English and Mandarin daily — with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers — so this role sits at the center of how the office runs. The Role You'll be the first point of contact at our La Brea office and the day-to-day support for our finance and administrative operations. This is a hands-on entry-level position with direct exposure to how a construction and development business actually works — you'll see project budgets, vendor contracts, and permitting paperwork move through the office. What You'll Do Manage the front desk: greet clients and visitors, answer and route calls, handle mail and deliveries Serve as a bilingual bridge between Mandarin-speaking leadership/clients and English-speaking vendors, subcontractors, and agencies Enter and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks; code invoices and receipts Process accounts payable and receivable; track vendor invoices and payment schedules Maintain organized digital and physical records for projects, contracts, permits, and insurance Prepare bilingual correspondence, quotes, and internal documents Support office operations: supplies, vendor accounts, utilities, scheduling What We're Looking For Professional fluency in both Mandarin and English, written and spoken — this is a hard requirement Bachelor's degree completed by start date; Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred Comfortable with Excel and Google Workspace; QuickBooks experience is a plus, not a requirement Accurate with numbers and detail-oriented with documents Available to work full-time onsite in Los Angeles, Monday-Friday Nice to Have Prior front-desk, bookkeeping, or AP/AR experience (internships count) Familiarity with construction, real estate, or architecture terminology Details Full-time, onsite at 446 S La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA Monday-Friday, standard business hours
