Job Description

Water's Edge Resort & Spa is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting team. Reporting to the Controller, this position is responsible for daily revenue reporting, electronic deposits, and general accounting support in a fast-paced resort environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and prepare daily accounting reports Audit transactions and resolve discrepancies Process remote deposits and maintain deposit records Prepare daily revenue, cashier, and labor reports Assist with account reconciliations, and general accounting tasks Support timeshare payment processing and month-end reporting Provide administrative support, including mail distribution and reception duties

Qualifications:

Previous cash handling, bookkeeping, accounting, or hospitality experience preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines Experience with hotel PMS or POS systems (Maestro, Toast, or similar) is a plus Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
