1 About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Fixed Asset Accounting & Controls Manager to join our team for a 6-month contract assignment. This role will be responsible for supporting fixed asset accounting, reconciliations, controls, and audit remediation initiatives within a complex, asset-intensive environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee fixed asset accounting activities, including asset additions, transfers, disposals, and reconciliations. Review and oversee capitalization, depreciation, and Construction in Progress (CIP) accounting. Perform and coordinate physical asset verification and inventory counts, ensuring records are complete and accurate. Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical assets and accounting records. Support audit remediation efforts and strengthen internal accounting controls and processes. Analyze accounting activity and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with

U.S. GAAP.

Partner with Accounting, Operations, Audit, and other cross-functional teams to investigate issues and implement solutions. Assist with process improvements designed to enhance the accuracy, consistency, and control of fixed asset accounting. Prepare and maintain documentation and schedules to support internal and external audits. Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant exposure to fixed asset accounting and controls. Strong experience with fixed asset reconciliations, capitalization, depreciation, and CIP accounting. Experience performing or coordinating physical asset verification and inventory counts. Background in audit remediation, internal controls, and accounting process improvement. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Experience in an asset-intensive industry such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure, or Manufacturing preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Systems Experience Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
