Wente Plumbing and Fire Protection is a dedicated, small-business provider of essential plumbing and fire sprinkler services. Key Responsibilities The primary focus of this role is managing daily accounting operations and providing essential administrative support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Accounts Payable (A/P): Process, verify, and reconcile invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers. Accounts Receivable (A/R) /

Collections:

Proactively monitor the status of past due customer accounts, contact customers regarding outstanding balances, and manage collection efforts according to company policy.

Office Administration:

Monitor and manage inventory of essential office supplies and coordinate the efficient ordering of new materials.

Cross-Functional Support:

Due to the nature of a small business, be prepared to perform various other administrative and operational tasks as needed to support the overall efficiency of the office and field teams. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience in performing accounting tasks, particularly Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable/Collections, is highly preferred. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective customer and vendor interaction. Proficiency with relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
