Job Summary We are a small growing commercial manufacturing company serving customers in Chicagoland area and surrounding states. the construction industry. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting & Office Administrator to join our team! This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions of the business, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, cash management, collections, and general office administration. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to adapt quickly to new systems and processes. This position interacts closely with sales, operations, and management teams and requires someone who can successfully work in a busy office environment where priorities may shift throughout the day. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise, proficiency with various financial software, strong knowledge of MS office products with and excellent organizational skills. Previous experience with ERP system is a preferred. Accounting Duties Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Process vendor invoices and customer payments Monitor daily cash activity and reconcile bank accounts Manage collections and customer account follow-up Assist with month-end closing activities Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation Generate reports and support management with financial information Expert level knowledge of our ERP system for all accounting function Administrative & Office Support Process UPS and other shipping-related activities Manage all filing of AP, AR, and Cash Manage employee timecards and related administrative functions Support sales and customer service teams with administrative tasks Maintain office supplies and coordinate general office activities Assist ownership and management with special projects Help ensure smooth daily office operation Experience Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a small business environment Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash management, reconciliations, and collections Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, lookups, reporting, and data analysis Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision Professional communication skills Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to operational excellence! Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
