Job Title:

Logistics Accounting Analyst Supervisor Job Purpose:

The primary purpose of this role is to maintain and oversee the logistics accounting and billing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all related tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Billing Verification:

Conduct thorough verification of all billing activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Reporting:

Prepare and complete weekly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports. Generate and finalize month-end reports and accruals.

Carrier Rate Verification:

Verify carrier rates within the TruckMate system to ensure correct billing.

Invoice Matching:

Perform 3-way matching of carrier invoices to purchase orders and delivery receipts.

Supervision and Guidance:

Provide guidance and supervision to Billing Specialists, ensuring adherence to best practices and company standards.

Invoice Processing:

Set up invoices for approval and payment, ensuring timely processing.

Payment Reconciliation:

Reconcile payments to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.

Carrier Aging Statements:

Monitor and reconcile Carrier Aging Statements to manage outstanding balances.

Discrepancy Resolution:

Resolve invoice discrepancies and billing issues with carriers promptly.

Budget and Forecasting Support:

Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities to support financial planning.

Agency Staffing Invoices:

Review and verify agency staffing invoices for accuracy.

Consults with:

Accounting Manager Dispatch Manager Dispatch Supervisor Dispatch Clerks Supervises:

Billing Specialists Education and/or

Experience:

2-4 years of relevant work experience. Minimum 6 months of experience with TruckMate. Minimum 6 months of experience with SAP. Strong organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration. Ability to adhere to strict deadlines. #SLY123

$60,000.00 per year
