Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting and financial reporting functions for a growing organization. This role will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, and support leadership with financial analysis and strategic insight. The Controller will play a key role in maintaining strong internal controls, managing the financial close process, and helping guide financial planning and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
• Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Monitor cash flow and financial performance
• Coordinate year-end audit processes and work with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable financial regulations
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Supervise and support accounting staff while improving financial processes Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA preferred
• 5-7+ years of experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience managing the full accounting cycle and financial close process
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Experience
• Experience in manufacturing, recycling, logistics, or industrial environments
• Experience supporting multi-location operations
