We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Corporate Administrative & Accounting Coordinator to join our corporate team in Needham, MA.

  • Paid Holidays (10) 401(k) with company match What You'll Do As our Corporate Administrative Assistant, you'll help keep our corporate office organized and efficient while providing hands-on administrative and accounting support.

Responsibilities will include:
Manage day-to-day corporate office needs for a team of approximately 5-8 employees Organize and maintain the Corporate SharePoint site Set up and maintain DocuSign accounts as needed Manage corporate vendor relationships, including CSC, FedEx, landlord contacts, and others Process monthly corporate allocations and journal entries Process mortgage-related transactions Process expense reports and petty cash reimbursements for the corporate office and properties Establish new vendors in Yardi Collect and maintain W-9 documentation and assist with 1099 processing Support the Accounting Manager with bank reconciliations, security deposit account reconciliations, and other accounting functions Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency Assist with special projects and other corporate initiatives as needed
What We're Looking:
ForOur ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership, stays organized, and enjoys being the person others can count on to keep things moving. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Bookkeeping, Hospitality, Property Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered Previous administrative, bookkeeping, accounting support, or corporate office experience Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional and service-oriented approach Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 Yardi experience strongly preferred Property management or multifamily experience is a plus Why Makor?
