Primary Duties and Responsibilities Including but not limited to: Day-to-Day Accounting Personally execute and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices in accordance with company policies Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor issues directly Process weekly vendor payments (ACH, wires, checks) and maintain vendor records Manage corporate credit card transactions, coding, and reconciliations Handle customer invoicing, cash applications, and support collections efforts as needed Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records and supporting documentation Process and file annual 1099s Close & Financial Reporting Own and execute the month-end and year-end close process, including reconciliations and journal entries Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP Ensure integrity of the general ledger and maintain strong internal controls Support audit requests and provide required documentation Cash & Operational Support Monitor cash flow and assist leadership with forecasting Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Human Resources (Hands-On Administration) Process payroll and ensure accuracy and timeliness Administer employee benefits, enrollments, and changes Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements Support performance review processes and employee relations matters Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related questions The Most Important Capabilities Attention to

Accounting Knowledge:
Solid understanding of GAAP and financial processes
HR Knowledge:
Working knowledge of payroll, benefits, and compliance basics Target Background / Experience 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience (full-cycle accounting required) Prior experience in a small to mid-sized company environment preferred Experience handling payroll and/or HR administration strongly preferred Experience in equipment service, field service, or product-based sales environments strongly preferred Experience with service, sales, and rental revenue accounting, inventory, and technician-based operations Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong understanding of GAAP Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems CPA or demonstrated experience working closely with external CPA firms preferred Work Environment & Schedule Onsite standard work schedule, 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday, Sutton, MA This position could start as Part-Time upon mutual agreement Benefits 401(k) with company match Health insurance Flexible spending account Paid time off Professional development assistance Tuition reimbursement Bonus opportunity
