Job Title:
Accounting and Administrative Assistant Company:

We link our industry strengths with business acumen and urgency. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide complete support to management
  • Prepare important documents (letters, emails, documents, charts, reports, etc.)
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements
  • Reply to the correspondences that arrive to the company and organize office files
  • Support sales team with customer communication
  • Manage office supplies inventory
  • Maintain all daily transactions, like those of the petty cash account
  • Process payroll every two weeks using Excel and Quickbooks Desktop
  • Invoice customers and follow up on due dates
  • Assist with quoting process (materials and labor) and purchasing
  • Verify, enter and pay bills
  • File/pay monthly/quarterly/year-end payroll taxes
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements
  • Run monthly/quarterly financial reports (profit & loss statements, etc.)
  • Help screen, interview and orient new employees
  • Maintain and increase social media presence Key Competencies communication skills - written and verbal planning, organizing, and prioritizing problem assessment and problem solving information gathering and information monitoring attention to detail and accuracy adaptability and teamwork customer service orientation ability to multi-task and work in a flexible environment Qualifications
  • High school diploma is a must, however, a college degree is an added advantage
  • Computer competent
  • Should know all the important software used in offices (MUST
BE PROFICIENT IN WORD AND EXCEL
)
  • Experience in Quickbooks Desktop is
REQUIRED.
Applicants without Quickbooks experience will be rejected. A background check is mandatory. Applicants who have been convicted of a financial crime or felony need not apply.

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
