Job Description

Private Equity Fund Accounting Supervisor We are looking for an experienced Fund Accounting Supervisor to join one a leading fund administration platform. In this role, you will oversee financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of private equity and venture capital clients, collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure accurate accounting, timely reporting, and clear, professional communication with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead fund accounting operations, including capital account maintenance and financial statement preparation. Oversee and coordinate audit and tax processes to ensure compliance and accuracy. Assist with capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations. Manage and monitor portfolio company financings and related financial data. Direct cash flow management and fund forecasting activities. Support quarterly reporting to limited partners and other stakeholders. Maintain accurate investor records within fund accounting and reporting systems. Review and mentor junior fund accountants and team members. Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain high-quality standards. Travel to client sites as needed to support operational and reporting needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required; CPA preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in fund administration or fund accounting. Public accounting experience with asset management clients is a plus. Proven supervisory or reviewer experience. Strong understanding of private equity and venture capital structures, including partnership accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Strong communication skills and comfort in client-facing environments. Apply Now
