Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Supervisor to lead our Bookkeeping team in maintaining accurate financial records. In this role, you will oversee daily bookkeeping operations and support the preparation of financial reports. Your expertise in QuickBooks will be essential in streamlining processes and enhancing accuracy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to supervise a team of bookkeepers, implement best practices in account reconciliation, and contribute to the financial health of our organization. Duties Supervise and mentor a team of bookkeepers to ensure precise data entry and adherence to accounting standards Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections Perform bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations Oversee payroll processing activities of Bookkeepersusing relevant payroll software, ensuring compliance with tax laws and company policies Ensure accurate account reconciliation through regular review of bank statements and general ledger accounts Experience Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting supervision for a team of two or more Extensive knowledge of accounting principles including debits & credits, journal entries, and account reconciliation techniques Proficiency QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online) Strong understanding of payroll processing procedures Experience working with spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting Familiarity with financial concepts related to general ledger reconciliation, bank reconciliation, account analysis, and financial report writing
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
