Roles & Responsibilities Accounting and Administrative Assistant Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting and Administrative Assistant to support clients and subsidiaries across industries. This role offers on-the-job training and career growth in accounting and administration. Responsibilities Perform basic accounting and bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records
Prepare and record accounting entries using double-entry bookkeeping principles for accurate ledger maintenance
Update and maintain general ledger accounts to reflect current financial status
Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing to ensure timely payments and collections
Reconcile bank statements with financial records to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Prepare supporting documents for monthly accounting reports to facilitate financial review
Assist in payroll and reimbursement processing to support employee compensation
Provide general administrative support including preparing correspondence, reports, and business documents
Manage filing systems and maintain proper documentation for easy retrieval and compliance
Coordinate appointments, meetings, and schedules to support efficient office operations
Perform data entry and maintain company databases to ensure up-to-date information
Liaise with clients, vendors, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to facilitate communication

Minimum GCE 'N' Level, 'O' Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification
Basic understanding of accounting principles including double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word
Good organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure error-free work
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders
