Summary:
Under the direction of the Assistant Controller, the Accounting Administrator will take part in the monthly reconciliation and posting of company P-Card program, ensure proper GL coding of P-Card expenses as well as timely and accurate vouching of purchase orders, answer field question as needed, manage open inventory returns by following up with branches on open IR, ensure timely IR closeout. Responsibilities of the Accounting Administrator include, but are not limited to: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including vendor invoices. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes specific to operations of PREMIERflow. Coordinate billing and collections for all services. Support internal and external audits, including regulatory compliance documentation Assist in budget preparation and expense monitoring for facility operations Provide general administrative support to the accounting and operations teams Qualifications of the Accounting Administrator include, but are not limited to: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred 1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a municipal, utility, or industrial services environment Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential financial and contractual information with discretion Effective written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills Experience working with municipal or government contracts and billing Knowledge of GAAP Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Infor)
