$15.00 - $22.00 depending on qualifications and experience Job summary Provide personal administrative support. Duties include general clerical, receptionist and project based work. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. The position also includes assisting with completing new and existing client paperwork and obtaining proper financial licenses to perform duties. Summary of essential job functions Answer phone calls-Emails/ relay messages Assist financial advisor complete new and existing client paperwork Obtain appropriate licenses to work on various financial duties Schedule tax appointments and track calendars Use Quickbooks/ tracking and accounting of business financials and billing Organize and file documentation Perform various business activities such as payroll, bookkeeping, and taxes Submit and receive document billing/application and filing for business transactions Answer simple inquiries related to taxes and accounting and project premise Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing Receive and mail packages and letters Accept and process client payments Assist with creating content on Social Media pages (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) Assemble Tax returns Be a cheerful representative of the company and relay a helpful and accommodating environment Conduct internet searches to find needed information Work requires willingness to work extended hours during busy season Assist with designing and implementing marketing campaign Other duties as assigned Minimum requirements Professional demeanor and attitude Trustworthy, able to respect confidentiality Familiarity with office organization techniques Willingness to take on difficult tasks Capable of multitasking; strong time management Well-organized, detail-oriented Strong writing ability Excellent verbal communication Proficient with computers, especially in MS Office Learn new technologies/software/applications Payroll processing experience is a plus Typing at 50+ words per minute preferred Past secretarial experience preferred Associates degree required Knowledge that is a Plus Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, taxes and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
