Contract About the Role We are looking for an Accounting Operations Supervisor to lead a team responsible for accurate, timely, and controlled accounting and transaction processing activities. This role will focus on team leadership, operational performance, process improvement, and maintaining a strong control environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of accounting operations professionals. Assign and review work, manage priorities, and ensure weekly operational goals are achieved. Monitor workflow, productivity, quality, and overall team performance. Partner with internal and external stakeholders and communicate policies and procedures clearly. Resolve complex operational issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and consistency. Drive operational performance through clear targets, prioritization, monitoring, and follow-up. Reinforce compliance with established accounting, operational, and control procedures. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance Experience leading and coaching a team in an accounting operations, finance operations, or transaction-processing environment. Demonstrated ability to assign/review work, manage priorities, and deliver weekly operational objectives. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain policies/procedures clearly and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Proven problem-solving ability, including analyzing issues with broader operational impacts and implementing process changes. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fields. Experience driving process improvement initiatives. Familiarity with controlled financial operations environments.
