In this vital role, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across various financial processes. Your expertise in accounting software, financial concepts, and data management will help maintain the integrity of our financial records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization committed to excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections Perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger entries with precision Utilize financial software to input data and generate reports Support payroll management including processing timesheets and payroll journal entries Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account analysis in accordance with GAAP and governmental accounting standards Handle confidential financial information with integrity and discretion Conduct data entry tasks with high accuracy using 10 key typing skills and Excel data analysis techniques Requirements Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within corporate or public accounting environments Strong knowledge of accounting systems such as Computer Ease, or Microsoft Office applications including advanced Excel skills for data analysis Familiarity with financial concepts like debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation Experience working with payroll systems is highly desirable Ability to handle confidential information securely while demonstrating excellent numeracy skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping and account analysis tasks Excellent communication skills for customer service interactions related to billing or account inquiries Bilingual English and Spanish speaker would be a plus Join us in a role that empowers your accounting expertise while offering opportunities for growth within a vibrant organization.
