This role ensures compliance with internal policies, drives process improvements, and supports financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, proven leadership skills, and experience with multi-state filings. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring critical functions have appropriate backup coverage. Develop, implement, and enforce corporate accounting policies while ensuring compliance with established procedures. Communicate accounting policies and procedures with vendors, internal departments, and upper management. Manage accounting deadlines and regulatory filings for more than 12 states. Analyze financial data, evaluate revenue and expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Oversee monthly and year-end accounting close processes and schedules. Assist with tax filings, audits, and other compliance-related activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year university (required). Minimum of four (4) years of progressive accounting experience. At least two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience. Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills. Experience with process improvement initiatives and compliance requirements. #
