Job Description

Job Title:
Administrative & Accounting Assistant Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative & Accounting Assistant to support our daily office and bookkeeping operations. This position requires prior QuickBooks experience , as the successful candidate will be responsible for entering invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to work independently in a fast-paced office environment. Key Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally. Review and respond to daily emails. Enter daily invoices and create reports in QuickBooks. Email customer invoices and remittance statements by a required time. Enter and scan daily logging tickets. Scan and enter bills into Quickbooks. Prepare and process daily checks. Assist with journal entries as directed by the accounting team. Assist with organizing records for annual tax preparation. Maintain accurate financial and office records. Provide general administrative support as needed.
Note:
Bank reconciliations are performed by another team member and are not part of this position. Required Qualifications Proficiency with Quickbooks, Adobe, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Google Drive and Word. At least 2 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative office experience preferred. Knowledge of accounts payable, invoices, and journal entries. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the logging, forestry, trucking, or related industries is a plus. Familiarity with accounting processes and financial record keeping. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong QuickBooks and bookkeeping experience who enjoys a combination of accounting and administrative responsibilities. Hours 8AM - 2
PM, Part-Time Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
