Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting/Office Administrator to join our team! This vital role combines accounting expertise with office management skills to ensure smooth financial operations and efficient administrative support. As an integral part of our organization, you will handle a variety of accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and support daily office activities. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will contribute to the overall success and growth of our organization. Duties Full-cycle bookkeeping Accounts payable, receivable and collections Payroll administration Human resources administration Office management Customer billing Vendor management Financial reporting Administrative support Recordkeeping Insurance and licensing management Fleet and equipment documentation Compliance documentation Other duties as assigned Skills Extensive experience with accounting software including QuickBooks (Online & Desktop), B2W, Fullbay, willingness to learn other programs Strong understanding of accounting principles, governmental accounting standards, and practices Proficiency in double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and general ledger accounting Knowledge of payroll processing procedures and tax compliance requirements Ability to perform account analysis, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation efficiently Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills for financial report writing and collaborating across departments Basic typing skills (10 key) for data entry accuracy Ability to work as a team player.
