An Accounting Supervisor supervises accounting staff, assists with accounting and auditing for a company, and prepares financial reports. Works with other department or operations staff to track expenditures and manage budgets.
The Accounting & Benefits Coordinator handles the bookkeeping and human resources operations of the Club. This position reports directly to the Clubhouse Manager and works closely with the Fractional Controller, Greens & Grounds Superintendent, and Head Golf Professional. This role requires someone who thrives in a hospitality-focused environment, values confidentiality, and is skilled at managing both financial responsibilities and people-related tasks with accuracy and care.
ACCOUNTING RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain the accuracy and productivity of daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Cash Disbursements, Invoice and Member Billing, and Member Credit and Collections Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly, tipped, seasonal, and salaried staff across multiple departments (Golf, F&B, Grounds, Clubhouse, Pool, Administration). Assist with journal entries, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and support month-end and year-end close processes. Monitor and reconcile club inventory accounts. Maintain fixed asset schedules and assist with capital project tracking. Support financial reporting for department managers and assist with annual budget preparation. Ensure accurate coding and documentation for all club financial operations. Other duties as assigned.

Maintain confidential employee records, complying with club policies and legal requirements. Administer employee benefits including health, life, disability, and 401(k)retirement plan. Coordinate enrollments, plan changes, and annual open enrollment for staff. Serve as point of contact for employee benefit questions. Support onboarding of new hires, including tax forms, I-9 verification, benefit setup, and club policy review. Maintain Full Time and Seasonal Employee Handbooks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field preferred. 2+ years of accounting, payroll, or benefits administration experience; hospitality or club-industry experience a plus. Strong understanding of accounting principles and payroll processes (tipped, seasonal, and multi-department payroll experience preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Excellent communication skills and customer-service mindset. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. •
