Job Description

The Operations Lead, Revenue & Payments for Service and Collision at Tesla is responsible for overseeing financial transactions related to service and collision repairs, with a focus on interactions with insurance companies. This role defines reporting standards and disciplinary actions for team members, ensures data integrity, and supports training on accounts receivable processes. This role can sit in Fremont, CA; Palo Alto, CA or Austin, TX. Define and implement reporting standards for accounts receivable in service and collision, ensuring accurate tracking of payments and interactions with insurance companies Establish disciplinary actions and guidelines for team members who work with insurance companies to maintain compliance and timeliness Ensure data integrity in accounts receivable systems by auditing reports vs records and resolving discrepancies promptly Collaborate with training and product teams to develop and deliver process education for accounts receivable, creating a collections process augmented by Artificial Intelligence, focusing on best practices and efficiency Monitor and analyze accounts receivable performance metrics to identify areas for improvement at the field level Act as a liaison between service/collision teams, finance operations, and insurance companies to facilitate smooth payment processes, integrating EFT or other technologies Provide recommendations for process enhancements to streamline accounts receivable operations and improve customer satisfaction Proven experience in accounts receivable, preferably within the automotive service or collision repair industry Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience Strong understanding of financial reporting, data integrity, and process compliance in a service-oriented environment Experience working with insurance companies and navigating payment processes for service and collision claims Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage data accuracy and monitor performance metrics Ability to develop and deliver training materials on accounts receivable processes and policies Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and enforce disciplinary standards effectively Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $88,000 - $162,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
