About The Position The Funding Supervisor will be responsible for leading, supervising, developing, and training a funding team of 10+ employees including a near-shore team.
Essential Responsibilities:
Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, policies and procedures to establish and maintain organizational structure. Participate in the recruitment, coaching, evaluation, and development of department employees. Review and audit loan applications and contracts to assure they are meeting Veros Credit lending policies and objectives as well as state and federal compliance guidelines. Develop and maintain positive relationships with dealers and internal departments. Have experience with multi-state loan installment contracts Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for funding team and upper management to lead the department to reach and or surpass daily and monthly goals. Scheduling of staff, time off request, start times and phone schedules to maximize efficient funding. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Requirements:
2+ years of progressive supervisory experience in the auto finance industry (near-prime preferred). Strong negotiation, problem solving, and communication skills with the ability to interact with others in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner. Organizational, strategic, computer, training skills and supervisory skills.. Excellent communication skills both oral and written Strong leadership skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, planning and organizing, decision making and delegation with the ability to manage and direct the work of others. Detail oriented and organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team. Available to work a flexible work schedule, including OT when necessary, and some Saturdays. Proficient with the Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Salary :
