Full Job Description Description:
The Accounts Payable Manager to lead our accounts payable team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships. The Accounts Payable Manager will leverage their expertise to enhance workflows and processes, providing valuable insights that contribute to our overall financial health.
Requirements:
Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring compliance with company policies and controls. Manage and mentor the accounts payable team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Review and approve invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to purchase orders and contracts. Handle vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to billing and payments promptly. Lead month-end close activities related to accounts payable, including reconciliations and reporting. Implement and maintain best practices for the accounts payable function to optimize efficiency. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolution of issues. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with financial and regulatory requirements. Prepare and present reports and metrics related to accounts payable performance to senior management. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures, including compliance requirements.
Experience:
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Working Conditions:
May be exposed to/occasionally exposed to patient elements; subject to varying and unpredictable situations and interruptions; occasionally subjected to irregular hours; occasional pressure due to a fast-paced environment. Position may require lifting, carrying or pushing equipment or patients.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to see with corrective eye wear. Must be able to hear clearly with assistance. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases. May be in contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances. Able to handle emergency or crisis situations. Will be required to wear protective equipment as necessary. Ability to escort or transport patients by wheelchair or stretcher

Occasionally:
