Job Description

Bridget Killen from Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to ensure the accurate processing, recording, and reconciliation of the organization's financial activity. The AP Manager will play a key role in supervising payment operations, maintaining financial records, and supporting reporting requirements. Flexibility is important, as the AP Manager may be asked to take on additional assignments beyond their primary responsibilities. The team works collaboratively to accomplish all objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Accounts Payable staff and clerksManage daily banking operations and related functionsReconcile assigned General Ledger accountsReview and approve daily and weekly transactional entries and receiptsConduct monthly exception and aging report reviewsInvestigate and resolve coding errors in accounts payable transactionsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as requiredCreate schedules and summaries to support department needsPerform bank reconciliations for assigned accountsAssist with preparation and facilitation of internal and external audits and program reviewsProvide program expenditure reports to program staff upon requestOffer technical assistance on expenditure compliance, ensuring adherence to organizational policies, GAAP, and OMB regulationsSupport annual SEFA preparation for auditPerform other duties as assigned
