The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) reimbursement and billing, as well as strong hands-on experience using Brightree . Position Responsibilities Manage all areas of the Reimbursement Department. Continuously analyze departmental KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement processes and strategies to improve departmental performance and efficiency. Manage and resolve DME billing issues, denials, audits, reconsiderations, collections, and accounts receivable. Create, run, and analyze Brightree Ad Hoc reports . Maintain daily communication with DME providers and payors. Research and resolve complex reimbursement and insurance-related issues. Monitor departmental performance and recommend solutions to improve outcomes. Work collaboratively with internal teams, providers, and payors to ensure efficient reimbursement processes. Ideal Candidate Qualifications The successful candidate will possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. A comprehensive understanding of insurance plans, benefits, and reimbursement requirements for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payors . The ability to make informed and complex decisions in a timely manner. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of DME billing and reimbursement processes. Experience managing denials, audits, reconsiderations, collections, and accounts receivable. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Extensive experience creating and running Brightree Ad Hoc reports . Specific Requirements Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Brightree experience . Minimum of 2 years of experience in the DME industry . Demonstrated experience creating and running Brightree Ad Hoc reports . Proficiency in Microsoft Excel . Strong understanding of DME billing, reimbursement, and insurance processes. This position is ideal for a highly organized and analytical DME reimbursement professional who can independently manage complex accounts, analyze performance data, and implement meaningful process improvements.
