This role is responsible for ensuring high‑quality financial operations, adherence to federal, state, and local workforce funding requirements, and continuous improvement of accounts payable processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily accounts payable activities for non‑childcare vendor and program payments Ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality control of invoices, payment approvals, and documentation Maintain compliance with Workforce Solutions, TWC, federal, and state financial regulations Review and resolve complex payment issues, discrepancies, and audit findings Develop and enforce standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and consistency Train, coach, and evaluate accounts payable staff with a focus on quality and accountability Collaborate with program staff, finance leadership, and external vendors to support workforce initiatives
Qualifications:
Experience supervising accounts payable functions, preferably in a public sector or workforce environment Strong knowledge of financial controls, audit requirements, and compliance standards High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and service excellence
