full-time Well established distributor serving the electrical building supply markets, with a strong reputation for quality products and exceptional customer service is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant. This role will be responsible for supporting accounts receivable operations, cash applications, collections, and the month-end and year-end close processes. Key Responsibilities Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities. Review Accounts Receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and assist with collections. Research and resolve customer billing discrepancies and disputes. Prepare weekly and monthly reports related to credit holds, bad debt, and cash applications. Communicate professionally with customers regarding account balances, invoices, and payments. Post cash receipts and accurately apply customer payments. Prepare daily customer billing using the company's ERP system. Provide accounting and administrative support to the Controller and senior credit/accounting leadership. Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Ideal Qualifications Bachelor's degree required . Minimum 2-4 years of Accounts Receivable and/or accounting operations experience . Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word . Experience working with an ERP/accounting system preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
