Job Description The Quality Auditor is responsible for the safe operation and inspection of orders. This responsibility includes the performance of those tasks necessary to achieve proper quality operation. Works in team environment to audit the quality processes of each manufacturing area.

Shift:
Morning Performs quality audits in each manufacturing area as prescribed to verify product specifications on the production line compared to manufacturing documents for completion and accuracy Maintains quality documentation related to operations Supports and assists the manufacturing areas with quality issues, working closely with department personnel to support the production of quality products Assists fellow auditors and operators with material movement to quarantine/block non-conforming material from usage Collects product samples per customer request Performs verification testing of the metal detector Communicates updates, pass-down, email updates Watches questionable material run on the lines as needed Overtime coverage planning, assistance, support Conflict resolution skills for working through obstacles Follows all quality SOPs Self-manages and works harmoniously in team environment Performs other duties as requested or needed to support the team environment Performs duties related to the Safe Quality Food program as required Qualifications Associate Applied Science Degree or equivalent work experience Working knowledge of computers and basic keyboarding skills Process manufacturing experience Proven ability to perform basic math and measurement tasks High school diploma or G.E.D. required Quality experience in a previous process manufacturing environment preferred
Physical Requirements:
Occasional bending and lifting of items up to 40 pounds as needed (Lifting of items exceeding 40 pounds will require a two-person lift) Work around various solvents, inks, corn starch and cleaning chemicals Access all work areas to include occasional climbing on stands, ladders and stairs Sit, stand, stoop, squat, bend, and reach overhead as needed Stand on concrete floors for 12-hour shifts Push/pull objects as needed Utilize fine manipulation skills (including but not limited to the use of a utility knife, scissors, tape measure, typing, writing, and hand tools) Must be able to distinguish colors for product quality purposes Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management at all levels Must be able to follow all safety processes and procedures Utilize communication skills to effectively express both oral and written ideas individually or in group settings Utilize interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with a variety of and groups Work overtime and weekends as scheduled Additional Information Benefits and Perks 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Employee discounts Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid elder care Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Requisition id: 55614
