Job Description
The High School Auditorium Tech Crew reports to the Stage Manager and is a student responsible for the technical aspects of productions in the school auditorium, including managing lighting, sound, set changes, and other backstage operations, working behind the scenes to ensure a smooth performance during plays, concerts, and other events.
Key responsibilities may include:
Set construction and management:
Building, painting, and moving set pieces on and off stage.
Lighting operation:
Setting up and controlling lighting fixtures, including spotlights and follow spots, to create specific effects during a performance.
Sound operation:
Mixing and adjusting sound levels for microphones, music, and sound effects.
Stage management support:
Assisting the stage manager with cueing actors, coordinating scene changes, and ensuring smooth transitions.
Prop management:
Acquiring, storing, and placing props on stage as needed.
Technical rehearsals:
Participating in rehearsals to execute lighting and sound cues, and troubleshoot any technical issues.
Maintenance and upkeep:
Keeping the auditorium equipment and stage area clean and in working order. Ability to perform physical activities such as walking, climbing, squatting, stooping, pulling and lifting.

Per Hour
Terms of Employment:
As needed, Part-Time, Must be available after hours and evenings.

4 Salary established by the Governing Board.
