Months Schedule:
24-32 Hours per Week | Monday-Friday | 1st Shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Staff Matters is seeking an experienced Auditor for a long-term contract opportunity in Tucson, AZ . If you have a background in internal or external auditing, risk-based audits, and SOX compliance, we'd love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Execute risk-based audits across operational, financial, and compliance areas. Perform SOX control testing in accordance with established testing plans. Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness. Prepare clear, well-documented audit workpapers. Conduct process walkthroughs and document process narratives. Identify control deficiencies and communicate findings to audit leadership. Assist with audit reporting and provide practical recommendations. Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and anomalies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-5+ years of internal or external audit experience. Experience with risk-based auditing, control evaluations, and audit execution. Working knowledge of COSO Framework and SOX compliance . Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working with large data sets. Why Join This Opportunity?
