Internal projects are driven by two guiding principles - Keep Tesla Safe and Enable Operational Excellence. The Team achieves its objective by collaborating with functional and business/product groups to identify areas of risk, making valuable recommendations on process and control improvements, cost reduction, and operational excellence. The Internal Audit team works closely with functional and business/product work groups to identify areas of risk, make valuable recommendations on process and control standardization, and influence decision-making process to drive change. What You'll Do Conduct financial audits across different functions related to Tesla's automotive and energy business including (but not limited to) manufacturing, supply chain, financial services, vehicle sales, service, and delivery Identify emerging risk and recommend control enhancements to support high-growth environment and constant change Partner with business/IT team and utilize knowledge of financial processes, financial reporting risk, and internal controls to design, evaluate, and monitor the Company's internal controls over financial reporting Develop strong relationships with business, technology partners and external auditors at all levels Prepare and provide written and oral reports, communications and/or presentations to management and executives Evaluate the design, planning, and execution steps of autonomous AI agents / workflows to ensure they align with intended goals and safety guidelines Assess compliance of AI Agents with applicable regulatory frameworks and internal guidelines What You'll Bring 8+ years of relevant work experience in Public Accounting, Internal Auditing, and Risk Assessment Detailed knowledge of critical business processes across key industries such as Automotive, Manufacturing, Retail, Insurance & Financial Services or high growth companies is strongly preferred Understanding of IT system controls, COSO framework, application workflow and data architecture. Experience working with computer-aided auditing, continuous monitoring and data analytic tools (Power BI, Tableau)

CIA/CPA/CISA
