The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive quality audits across production processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems. This role is essential in maintaining product integrity, enhancing process efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency with precision measuring instruments, and a thorough understanding of quality management principles. Key Responsibilities Perform analytical testing and accurately record, maintain, and review results/data within SAP systems. Utilize a variety of testing methods, procedures, and laboratory instrumentation to ensure product quality and compliance. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory and precision measuring equipment as needed. Initiate and document Quality Notifications, DMRs, and DMAs, including participation in cross-functional root cause analysis and follow-up resolutions. Interpret testing and production data to provide direction to manufacturing teams and ensure products meet established specifications. Prepare and manage samples of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods for internal and external testing, including environmental testing. Perform COA verification and raw material sampling activities. Conduct regular quality audits on manufacturing processes to verify adherence to
ISO 13485, ISO 9001, CGMP, HACCP, FDA
regulations, and internal quality standards. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems for detailed inspections. Collect and analyze data related to product dimensions, tolerances, and process variability to identify deviations and improvement opportunities. Maintain accurate documentation of audit findings, non-conformances, corrective actions, and quality records. Coordinate with production and quality teams to support compliance initiatives and continuous improvement projects. Conduct internal and supplier quality audits to verify compliance with regulatory and company standards. Assist in developing inspection procedures, SOPs, and training materials for quality assurance activities. Participate in cross-functional initiatives focused on improving product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance. Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in quality auditing or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP, HACCP, FDA
regulations, and QA/QC procedures. Experience using laboratory and precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, vision systems, and CMM equipment. Familiarity with SAP systems and quality documentation processes. Ability to interpret analytical and manufacturing data to identify trends, deviations, and corrective actions. Experience with calibration programs and troubleshooting of testing equipment. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, or other regulated industries is highly preferred. Preferred Skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes. Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify process enhancement opportunities.
Pay:
Up to $19.00 per hour
