Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented DME (Durable Medical Equipment) Field Auditor to perform on-site audits at patients' residences. This contractor role involves independent travel to 8-10 patient homes per day over a 3-month contract . The auditor will verify the quantity, condition, and functionality of medical equipment, ensuring accurate inventory management and compliance with company standards.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-home audits of assigned durable medical equipment. Verify quantity, serial numbers, and overall condition of each item. Inspect equipment for damage, proper functionality, and safety compliance. Accurately document findings, including photos as required. Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and patient confidentiality. Provide timely feedback and escalate issues related to missing or malfunctioning equipment.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare, medical technology, or related certification preferred. Valid driver's license required and access to a reliable personal vehicle. Prior experience in healthcare, medical equipment, or field auditing is a plus. Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients. Proficiency with mobile devices, reporting software, and data entry.Work Conditions:
Contractor role with independent travel to 8-10 patient homes per day. Must adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures. Transportation is the responsibility of the auditor; mileage reimbursement applies .Pay:
