The Quality Auditor is responsible for independently assessing the effectiveness of the organization's Quality Management System (QMS), internal controls, and compliance processes. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to conduct audits, drive corrective actions, identify process improvement opportunities, and ensure compliance with

regulations, and other applicable aerospace quality standards.

Long-term contract-to-Hire Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessments. Conduct internal audits and evaluate compliance with

AS9100D, ISO 9001, FAA

regulations, and company procedures. Document audit findings and present results to leadership and key stakeholders. Lead corrective and preventive action activities, including assignment and tracking of Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA). Partner with cross-functional teams to perform root cause investigations utilizing methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone Analysis. Verify the effectiveness and timely closure of corrective actions. Support external audits, regulatory inspections, and customer assessments. Monitor quality trends and identify opportunities for systemic process improvements. Maintain accurate audit records and documentation in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements. Provide ongoing support for continuous improvement initiatives across operations, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and other functional teams. Required Qualifications 3-5 years of internal auditing experience within aerospace, aviation, or a regulated manufacturing environment.

ISO 9001

2015 Internal Auditor certification. Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality compliance standards. Experience performing root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, or Fishbone. Proficiency with audit tracking systems, quality documentation, and record management tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to leadership. Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within a startup or rapidly growing aerospace organization. Knowledge of

FAA 14 CFR

Part 21 and aerospace quality requirements. Familiarity with airworthiness regulations and aircraft certification programs. AS9100D Internal Auditor certification.
