Job Description:
As an intern, you will gain valuable hands-on public accounting experience by working with a dedicated group of top professionals who will share their wealth of knowledge and experience. The Audit Intern will support the auditing team by assisting with financial reviews, data analysis, and compliance checks. This internship provides hands-on experience in the field of accounting and auditing, offering exposure to internal controls, financial reporting, and regulatory standards. This internship begins in June and ends in August. Hours are based on location needs of the office ranging from part time to full time.

Junior or Senior Accounting Major or Business related, OR MBA Candidate in an Accounting track program Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher Must be able to work a minimum of 20-40 hours per week Ability to commute to one of our office locations Excellent interpersonal and computer skills How you'll spend your time: Analyze and review client accounting records and financial statements Evaluate internal control systems, audit risk, materiality, and compliance with auditing standards through inquiry, observation, and review Assist in preparing detailed workpapers supporting audit procedures Perform substantive testing and analytical review procedures Assist with client engagements and other assigned projects Gain exposure to various industries and business environments Pursuant to the San Francisco FairChance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. The compensation for this position ranges from $25-38 per hour. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
