full-time Internal Audit Manager | Wallingford, Connecticut We are currently partnering with a global manufacturing leader, who is looking for an internal audit manager to join its corporate team in Wallingford. With operations in over 40 countries and a strong record of growth, this is a great opportunity to step into a visible role where you will work closely with senior leaders and gain exposure across a large international business. You will lead audits across the Americas, help strengthen internal controls and play a key role in shaping a modern, value adding audit function. What you will be doing:
- Lead operational audits and sox testing across the Americas region
- Plan and deliver risk based audits focused on high risk areas
- Review financial reporting and business processes with local teams
- Present audit findings and improvement ideas to senior management
- Support projects such as acquisitions, process improvement and integration What we are looking for:
- 4 to 8 years experience in public accounting or internal audit
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
- Strong analytical thinking and clear communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast moving global environment
