CHILDREN'S SERVICES COUNCIL OF PALM BEACH COUNTY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Children's Services Council (CSC) of Palm Beach County, a special district created over 40 years ago by Palm Beach County voters, provides leadership, funding, services, and research on behalf of the county's children so they are healthy, safe, ready for school, and ready for life.
DIRECTOR OF AUDIT AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Audit and Compliance provides strategic leadership for CSC's internal audit and provider contract compliance programs. This position oversees enterprise-wide risk assessments, internal controls, audit activities, regulatory compliance, and provider contract monitoring to ensure accountability, transparency, and adherence to legal, statutory, and contractual requirements.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing the internal audit charter, audit plans, policies, and procedures. Leading organization wide risk assessments, internal control evaluations, and compliance monitoring of funded provider agencies. Implementing AI, automation, data analytics, and continuous auditing tools to modernize audit functions. Monitoring regulatory, contractual, and policy requirements to ensure compliance. Providing training and guidance to staff on compliance standards and audit findings. Investigating compliance concerns, documenting findings, and overseeing corrective action plans. Preparing audit and compliance reports for leadership, the Council, and external partners. Supervising assigned staff and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Performing additional duties as assigned.
