Audit Associate

This firm does not measure commitment by how late you stay. They measure it by the quality of the work. This is a long established CPA firm in Fort Myers with just under fifty people and six partners, many of whom trained at Big 8 firms. The technical standards are high. The culture is sensible. People are trusted to do their jobs without unnecessary pressure. This role is fully on site, so you will need to be based in Fort Myers or within a commutable distance. Outside of occasional client travel, overtime is not the expectation. The audit work is planned properly, so evenings and weekends are not treated as a badge of honour. You will be involved in fieldwork, testing, and working closely with Seniors and Managers, with the opportunity to develop into running your own engagements over time. They are looking for someone with at least 2 years of audit experience within a US CPA firm who wants to continue developing in a structured and supportive environment. CPA or working towards a CPA is preferred. This is a firm where people do good work, learn properly, and still have a life outside the office.
