6 years Job expires: 20 Apr-2026 A reputable Food Manufacturing company located in Tema Heavy Industrial area is looking for an experienced professional to join its team as a Deputy Audit Manager. Job Purpose- To support the Audit Manager in planning, executing and reporting internal audit activities, strengthening internal controls, ensuring regulatory compliance and managing financial and operational risks across cocoa processing, procurement, warehousing and sales operations Key Roles and Duties
- Assists in developing and implementing the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessment
- Identifies control gaps, operational inefficiencies and risk exposures and recommend improvements
- Ensures compliance with company policies, accounting standard and regulatory requirements
- Supports fraud risk assessments and participate in investigations of suspected fraud or misconduct
- Prepares clear internal audit reports with root cause analysis and risk ratings Qualification Required & Experience
- Bachelors' degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related discipline Professional Certification
- Professional qualification such as ICA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA is required. Certification in risk management or fraud examination is an added advantage Experience
- Minimum of 6 years relevant experience in internal or external audit, assurance, or risk management, the at least 3 years in a supervisory or senior audit role Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards and risk-based audit methodolgies
- Excellent understanding of internal controls, governance and compliance frameworks
