Job Description

Radiology Compliance Assistant Central Illinois Radiological Associates (CIRA) is a private radiology practice with 100+ physicians providing radiology specialty services to ambulatory facilities, clinics and hospitals throughout Central Illinois. We are currently recruiting a part-time Radiology Compliance Assistant working ten (10) hours a week to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities Include :
 Supports the organization's compliance, quality and revenue cycle initiatives by ensuring radiology documentation meets regulatory coding and billing requirements.  Works collaboratively with clinical, billing, quality and compliance to provide accurate documentation, improve operational efficiency, and support organizational decision making.  Reviews radiology reports to ensure all required documentation is present and supports accurate coding and billing.  Performs detailed medical record reviews in collaboration with quality, billing and compliance to identify documentation deficiencies and opportunities for improvement.  Monitors compliance with federal, state, payer, and organizational documentation standards related to radiology services.  Coordinates projects assigned by leadership, ensuring completion and effective communication with stakeholders.  Analyze clinical and operational data to identify trends, monitor performance, and support compliance initiatives.  Prepares reports, dashboards, and presentations that provide meaningful data to leadership for operational and strategic decision making.
Qualifications:
 Associate's Degree or equivalent; minimum of two years related experience in radiology, medical records, coding, compliance, or healthcare quality preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Knowledge of medical terminology, radiology documentation, ICD-10-CM, CPT, and healthcare billing practices.  Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service and listening skills to effectively interact with internal and external audiences through written or verbal form.  Maintains strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.  Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.  Detail oriented and ability to multitask.  Intermediate knowledge with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and web browsers.
