This position is ideal for an audit professional who is comfortable taking ownership of engagements, leading staff, and working directly with clients. You will have the opportunity to manage engagements from planning through completion, gain exposure to complex client work, and build strong relationships with privately held businesses, including organizations generating $600M-$700M+ in annual revenue. Responsibilities Manage audit engagements from planning through completion Perform and oversee audits, reviews, and compilations Handle audit planning, budgeting, fieldwork, and reporting Work on more complex engagements, including consolidated financial statements Review work performed by staff and provide coaching and guidance Monitor engagement timelines, budgets, and overall efficiency Communicate directly with clients throughout the engagement process Assist with and potentially present audit results directly to clients Collaborate closely with firm leadership on client matters and engagement strategy Qualifications Prior public accounting audit experience at the Senior or Supervisor level Strong understanding of financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations Experience managing engagements and/or supervising junior staff Strong communication and client-facing skills Ability to effectively manage deadlines, budgets, and multiple engagements CPA preferred but not required CPA-eligible candidates will be considered
Compensation & Bonus Base Salary:
$90,000-$100,000
Target Bonus:
10% Bonus structure is based around: 1,600 annual billable hours 40 marketing/business development hours 85% realization Benefits CPA exam reimbursement $2,500 bonus upon CPA completion Approximately $500 bonus upon EA completion Professional licensing fees and AICPA membership covered Up to $1,500 annually for CPE This opportunity is a strong fit for someone looking for greater engagement ownership, direct client exposure, leadership responsibility, and continued advancement within public accounting.
